2025 GLBOC Critical Care Symposium

We are excited for you to share your professional achievements in evidence-based practice implementation, nursing research results, or innovation work at our upcoming Critical Care Symposium, September 17th, 2025, at the Voco (formerly Hills) Hotel in Laguna Hills, CA.

Abstract Submission Deadline: August 15th

Abstract submission guidelines for poster presentation:

We welcome abstracts for Poster Presentations reflecting Nursing Research and the implementation of EBP pertinent to Critical Care Nursing. The AACN's new theme, “On Purpose”, announced at NTI 2026, encourages nurses to embrace opportunities for growth and advancement and to pursue a purpose-filled life and intentional nursing practice despite challenges, emphasizing building a healthcare system driven by the needs of patients and families where nurses can make their optimal contributions through collaboration and practice improvement. 

Submit your abstract to both of the following contacts: mgrywals@hs.uci.edu and ivitez@memorialcare.org. You may submit work that has been presented previously at other venues. Notifications of acceptance will be sent via email to the primary author by August 30th.                        

GLBOC members: If your abstract is accepted for poster presentation, your symposium registration fee will be waived.
